Our attention has been drawn to an old video resurfacing on social media featuring a consumer showcasing the difference between original and counterfeit sachets of 14g Peak Full Cream Instant Milk Powder. In the said video, the expiry date of the counterfeit product was depicted as BB0220 (February 2020) and did not have a NAFDAC registration number.
It is pertinent to note that Peak Milk is produced under stringent manufacturing processes with utmost adherence to all international and local regulatory laws/guidelines for milk production.
Peak milk is certified by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) as safe for human consumption and conforming to the relevant Nigerian Industrial Standards (NIS).
We condemn in the strongest terms the criminal actions of counterfeiters and advise all our loyal customers and consumers to always look out for the NAFDAC registration number and the guarantee stamp at the point of purchase.
We assure the general public that their favourite Peak Milk brand remains high quality and reiterate FrieslandCampina’s unwavering mission of nourishing Nigerians with quality dairy nutrition.
